well i remember back then on the board here everyone was excited too hear that floyd signed too fight baldomir, people where saying that baldomir was going too knock him out blah blah blah, i dont care who he would of faced because putting floyd beside them name, you know who will win the margarito hype died out awhile back hopefuly its dead now that he has loat to the "punisher"

i dont mind margarito hes a good fighter but he's not in floyds class

Baldomir was the man at welterweight. He had done way more than Margarito that year. Beat up on Judah (Upset of the year), knocked the **** out of Gatt in 9. Mayweather had already done both of these things. It was a perfect matchup to see who was better. Plus Baldomir had the bigger name.

Margarito would give floyd a tougher fight, but i think carlos could beat margarito, this would be a hell of a fight. I don't know if margarito's chin is very good, but i think yes, and carlos well all know it's granite. this would be a brawl
