    Why Floyd Will Beat Ricky

This is my opinion and sorry if I offend any Hatton Fan's

In every fight I have seen Ricky fight in he have always came in to a fighter straight this mean's a fighter like Floyd Mayweather will be able to jab and move sideways to throw hatton off.

Hatton likes to move fighters up against the ropes and unload Floyd is way to clever to stay on the ropes and take pot shots, If he does he will roll out as he always has

Ricky always lowers his head alot when throwing his deadly hooks to the body which will allow Mayweather to use his effective uppercut to score on the inside without taking punishment himself.

If Ricky can change his gameplan drastically then maybe he is a danger to Floyd's throne but if he comes in like he did against Collazo he gets caught end off

    Thanks for reading

this is a good post and makes perfect sense. but be prepared for some CRAZY and ****ED UP comments from the floyd haters. check this thread often, you will surely get some comic responses as to why hatton will beat floyd, sometihng along the lines of "floyd runs, and hatton is too big and strong for him". it wont be much different than that, jus with different words. so be prepared....

anyway, i totally agree with your post...

Floyd will win because he's a better fighter, period!!! Losing to Floyd won't diminish Hatton as a fighter in my eyes. Mayweather just happens to have the style to beat Hatton. As a man I certainly like what I hear surrounding Hatton, seems like a really nice guy. Mayweather on the hand appears to me to be a pint sized Mike Tyson blowheart and a real arrogant a@#hole. That being said he's still the better fighter.

Floyd will get a hometown desicion, with his hometown ref. I bet the ref is an american.

why do u have to down him like that? u think without an american ref floyd wouldnt win the fight? it wouldnt matter where they fought, floyd would be the better fighter in any country they fought.

its not like he is a good fighter in america, and in england he is a bad fighter. he is a good fighter EVERYWHERE. the ref could be american, chinese, spanish, german, dont matter. mayweather is still the better fighter and will win the fight because of this, not cuz of the ref...

If floyd gets the decision (and not the ko) it has nothing to do with the ref being an american. i want ricky to win, but dont believe he has much chance. floyd is a slippery boxer. like the original poster said, when ricky gets floyd against the ropes, which is what ricky likes to do, floyd will just roll out and hit ricky 2x on the way out. we've seen him do it 1000 times. this matchup is perfect for floyd. the guys who would give floyd a lot of trouble have longer arms, i.e. paul williams, margarito, cintron, but i dont believe floyd would really fight them because he knows they will give him trouble. I believe these are they guys he needs to beat to be an atg. i think he would beat them, but he seems wary of taking on the risk. hatton may be the bigger $$ fight, but it certainly isnt the tougher fight.

so long as he fights guys that he can get in on, hit 3 times, and be out before they know what happened, he will continue to win. If hatton finds a way to win, ill take my hat off to him, but something tells me my hat is staying right where it is. Floyd UD 117 - 111.

What gives me confidence is the confidence Hatton appears to have.

as much as i love the Hitman my money will be on Floyd.

however i can see that Hatton has a chance, so i'm wishing that Floyd takes more pride in dancing with the stars than sparring.

if hatton does win it will be because floyd under estimates him and hatton wears him down.

but hatton has a weak defence, he takes too many shots and a boxer of floyd calibre will expose his weaknesses

but we live in hope and stranger things have happened in the ring.

Having confidence is great, but after he gets whacked a few times...we will see if he retains it.
I'm thinking PBF slices and dices him...
