I think Mayweather/Hatton is going to shut up a lot of British (and other) fans who think Floyd is a soft runner. I just watched Hatton vs. Collazo again for the first time since it aired live, and my God did Ricky look terrible and confused. Mayweather fights a little like Luis Collazo but with faster hands, better balance and footwork, a harder punch, tighter defense, and more experience in championship fights. Collazo didn't allow Hatton to "hug and hit" because he was smackin him with hard right hooks and straight left hands every time Hatton would walk in without his hands up. I don't think Hatton has much more than a puncher's chance in this fight. If his strategy is to run straight in and tie Floyd up, he's going to find out very early that it isn't going to work.

        Good post, MM.

Collazo was in the trenches with Hatton every step of the way.

Do you think Mayweather will make it a dog fight if nescessary?

I think Hatton has the style to Beat Mayweather.

I think Hatton could win, But Mayweather will find a way most likley.

I think Floyd will take whatever Ricky gives him. And with his style, Ricky will give him plenty. The closer this fight gets, the more and more I lean towards a dominant Floyd performance. I'm no fanboy of Floyd's, but I don't see how Hatton has the style to beat him at all. Superb boxers with speed and skill in both hands don't allow their opponents to tie up and bully them, as we saw in Collazo. A few Hatton body shots won't be enough to discourage Mayweather, as so many of his fans are banking on. I respect the hell out of Ricky, but he is in for a bad time.

i think all 3 fights are going to be close fights.

If hatton fights the fight i expect him to its going to be much closer than many think. some people on here have actually predicted 10 round to 2 rounds in favor of mayweather and consider it an "easy fight" i dont know what they are thinking but i expect a Split Decision.

if i had to bet money on that one i'd put it on mayweather but my heart is all for hatton...

Cotto/Mosley would surprise me if it went the distance. These fighters just have so much KO power that its going to end TKO/KO.

Kessler/Calzaghe should be close too...i see calzaghe most likely winning though.

Skilled boxers can be beat by skilled inside brawlers. We've seen it over and over. Mayweather is not a lock to win by any means. This is especially true because of his lack of power.
