If you are a short, squat dude (i.e hatton), then you fight in a style that provides you with the best chance to win. I credit Ricky for that. You can't argue 43-0.
Similarly, I would expect a professional fighter such as pacquiao to make the necessary adjustments in a fight with Mayweather. Floyd is only a inch or two taller.
I would NOT expect Pac to go take a chance vs the full-grown boys like Cintron, Clottey, or Tony.
But Mayweather-Pac is a fair size matchup.

That would be a fight fan's dream. Pound for pound # 1 and 2 getting at each other.
If Floyd doesn't move up and Manny continues to move up, why not?
But asking him to fight right away at 144 is murder.
Floyd is naturally fast at his weight and maintains that weight even without a fight.
I still think its ridiculous to ask Manny to fight Floyd and Valuev just to satisfy some people's hatred for the little guy.
Try asking Arce to move up and fight de Leon. He walks around 122 I think anyway.
