FINAL PREDICTIONS: JUAN DIAZ vs JULIO DIAZ

    Post urs

In My Opinion, this is what happens:
Rounds 1-4: Mostly Juan Diaz though Julio fights back strong. He'll probably catch Juan with a few uppercuts and possibly hurt Juan. Juan often forgets to jab when coming in and just jumps in. He has a world class chin and a good defense though.

Rounds 5-8: Absolutely all Juan Diaz, land crushing left hooks flush on Julios chin. Julio will become flat out exhausted struggling to keep off the ropes where he will continually take a pounding

Round 9 or 10: Out of Exhaustion and because Juan throws so many punches, Julio gets caught with a decent punch, doesnt take it well at all cause he's so tired, worn down, and softened up, and Juan stops Julio on his feet.

You've been watching Julio Diaz fight with El Pollo. Julio doesn't use that defence anymore that allowed him to get caught.

You'll be surprised how Julio will move Juan around the ring.

no i wont, i think ull be surprised at how relentless Juans pressure is.

Julio can be caught, especially after being softened up and becoming exhausted after a bunch of very heated rounds

The Kid thinks Julio can win.. He's actually pretty accurate.

It's a good fight to bet on.

god damn i cant watch that kids videos. blinks like 900 times a seconds.

But yea that kids a freak, knows his **** and he looks like he's 10 or something. I think Julio has more then a punchers chance, but i think ur a Julio fan if ur picking him to win. U gotta go with Juan. but, i didnt watch that video yet, but im guessing he said Julio has a chance and its hard to disagree with that i guess.

Like i said, Juan sometimes doesnt jab or anything coming in, and the chance of him getting caught is very real IMO

I pick Julio by close decision on this one.
I think he is a bit underrated.

This looks like it should be a very good matchup potentially.

Both fighters have characteristics to offset each other a little bit..

                  Polar oppositites in some regards..

I haven't given myself a refresher, but I think I do recall Juan looking badly off balance at different points in his fight with Freitas. We know it's not impossible that Julio comehow capitalizes on this. Julio fights well backing up, knows how to pick his shots, and uses his height effectively.

I like Juan. He's one of my favorites of the new gen - but I don't know Julio well enough to make a call on this. I'll be looking forward to learning more about our sport when these two get together. This will be educational.

The numbers are pretty sweet.. Hard to resist..

Juan is a dynamo, but he's clearly not invincible.

You would think these numbers might be a little tighter.. Apparently not.
