Andre Ward better come with his A Game

Andre ward better come with his A game on Nov. 17. His upcoming opponent appears to be a formidable one. He will be going up against Roger Cantrell, an opponent who is seemingly his polar opposite. Ward is 13 and 0 with 8 K.O's, and Cantrell is 12 and 0 with 8 K.O's. Cantrell recently impressed the media and the likes of both Roger Mayweather and Floyd Mayweather jr., during one of his recent sparring sessions. Cantrell has a three year age advantage at 20 years old, and they are similiar in height. This sounds like a pretty good match-up...... Who knows, This is fight may turn out to be one of the "Sleepers". Remember... High profile fights are not always the best ones to watch out for.

Yeah.... Damn, it seems like his notoriety dissolved quickly. They need to focus on getting him more exposure.

An age advantage when you are 20 and the other one is 23? Thats more of a disadvantage.

I was in attendance when Ward fought Darnell Boon on the undercard of Mitchell-Mayweather. Ward got tagged with an upercut and went down hard. He had to hold on for the rest of the round.. he was able to recover and continued to outbox Boone for the rest of the fight, but looked very unimpressive doing so. That was only his 7th fight, but I think he changed once he got tagged.. if Ward does get hurt, I'm not sure how he'll react.. perhaps not so well. Wonder if Cantrell's a finisher.
