A message from Nate Campbell:

I want to thank my friends, family, and fans who have sent their love and support, and kept me in their prayers. Obviously, I can't comment specifically at this moment about the circumstances of my arrest, but I want everyone to know that this situation will be resolved very soon, and ultimately all the facts will see the light of day. Also, this situation will not affect my ability to fight the Diaz-Diaz winner, or anyone else for that matter. I will still be in Chicago this weekend to watch the Diaz-Diaz fight at ringside and I look forward to getting my shot at the winner. Thanks again to all the fans who have emailed and texted me messages of support. Words cannot express what it means to me.

Editors Note: Campbell was released on his own recognizance Wednesday and he is now at home with his family.

Wow, that sucks. I liked Nate. Seemed like a really nice guy hearing him talk and the way he carries himself in the ring. I'm not 100% sure I believe it though. Nate is a heavy puncher, I would think the damage would be way worse than they said if he let it loose on a female with no gloves on?

Thanks for posting this. Everyone needs to ask themselves, would he have been released on his own recognizance if he had done what they are saying he did?

It says in todays St. Pete times that he was released on his own recoginece......He would never be let go on ROR is this **** was true......I think the real details are leaking out now and the judge was presented with enough evidence to still not set a bail but to simply let him go on ROR.The charges are very serious but I think the girlfriend lied initially and the true is finally coming out.....who knows tho.
