Unless of course the referee has prior instructions.....
But we know Floyd can hit him with more hard clean shots than he has ever been hit with in his career.

I believe it has been in issue in prior fights.. I remember hearing of one fight where he was bleeding bad, and he came up with a cluch KO when in danger of being stopped. I think this was his first fight in the states or something, some years back.

Think it could have been against Thaxton years and years back, he was cut really bad in that one

Was that for the Collazo fight or the Urango fight?

Remember when Mayweather ripped Gatti to the body with 4 left hooks in a row? I can see that happening to Hatton. And overtime the speed will eventually end the fight.

As I said, I see Hatton putting forth his bravest attempt against Mayweather until ultimately being stopped by the ref. Afterwards Ricky will protest like the ballsy **** he is. I just hope some people can find it in their hearts to give him credit for it.

I'm not a particular fan or either Mayweather or Hatton as you know, but I respect the **** out of both guys for very different reasons. Mayweather because he eats, sleeps and breathes boxing. Hatton because he makes the most of what he's got and he's not afraid to fight a guy who's superior to him in every aspect except power.

Both men deserve respect, and hopefull after the fight ends they'll be getting a little more around here.

Even though the bold is how it should be it won't happen and I will tell you why. People complain about the way PBF fights already and says he doesn't fight the best. With that logic think about it if PBF fights everybody that they say is the best but PBF beats them in the style that they hate then PBF will never get the credit he deserves. Because their hate for that style will not allow them to respect the way he won those fights. So actually PBF is in a no win situation with too many people on this board. So regardless if its not a complaint about his opponents its a complaint about his style.
