Trinidad would take this fight by KO round 5.

Trinidad was a beast at 147.

Well I guess I am the only one that will go againt the tide. I would say Cotto would win this. I don't think Cotto has a weak chin, Tito was dropped to the canvas more times than Cotto has, so you do the math. If you guys have looked at the skill level of Cotto, you will know that his boxing skills are way above Tito's. A prime Tito means a Tito that only looks to land his left hook and nothing else, for this reason he would loose. Now, Tito's power is somethings that can't be denied and that is to his advantage.

If you guys looked at the Zab fight with Cotto, you can clearly see that in the first few rounds Cotto was boxing with Judah and in my opinion gettin the better of the boxing match. Cotto would outbox Trinidad. Tito would go for the left hook as always and all Cotto would have to do is look at the fight with B-Hop. Hopkins had his right glove glued to his head the entire fight and that netrilized Tito's left. So for those reason I pick Cotto vs a prime Tito, let the flaming start.

Same people who say Cotto has a bad chin should say Tito does. Tito was dropped many times during his career. But once again people have short term memories.

Tito by KO. Bad matchup for Cotto.

Well you made a good argument unlike saying Cotto has a glass chin and Tito has good power. There's more to it than that, and props for bringing up the fact that Tito has been hurt more than Cotto has.

Tito had good head movement, and could use his jab well so I don't just look at his left hook being a factor. He can box with Miguel.

I agree he can box with miguel, but I think miguel is better. Miguel can box with good boxers, Tito after falling in love with the hook changed and I think is what got him to in the end. Man he was there with whitaker who is a great boxer, but was not able to deal with DLH, B-Hop and Winky? Why? I think Withaker is a better boxer then the other ones I mentioned. Then why the problems with the other? My answer is that he fell in love with that hook. The main reason I am not a Tito fan is because he fell in love with that hook. It might have been his best shot but he neglected all off his other attributes that he had earlier in his carrier. This is the same fear I have with Cotto at the moment.

              That says it.

Cotto couldn't live with Trinidad's heavy hands.

Imagine one of those lead left hooks connecting on Cotto..

Most of Tito's knockdown were early and had more to do with bad feet than a bad chin. Cotto has been all but out against two foes. Short memories indeed...the Tito who blew through 1994 would eat Cotto's lunch.

I say Trinidad would kick his ass, maybe even now if they could face each other

Cotto has a questionable chin and Trinidad is one of the hardest hitter welter's of all time. You do the math.

EDIT: I had no idea I already posted in this thread and I gave the same response as before lol.

Prime for Prime I would have to say Tito based on what Kball has stated.
