That reminds me why i was such a fan of Morales. The guy don't give a **** and is a warrior to the fullest!


That fighter was "Bobby Boy" Verlardez. I followed Verlardez very closesly in his boxing career thought i admit I didn't see the Morales fight till years later, only heard of what happened. But Verlardez is the real Rocky. He fought so many top prospects early in there career that he finally became a contender himself and had Arum sign him up and he keep winning and finally got a title shot. Of course unlike Rocky, Verlardez didnt' win a world title, but he is and was an inspiration to many that know where Bobby Boy came from and to rise as high as he did. People over looked him untill he keep beating everybody up when he was the one that was brought in to lose.

It may have been a little disrespectful, and unsportsmanlike...but damn that **** was badass lol...didnt velardez talk **** about Tijuana? I thought that was why Morales decided to do that...Morales just had an arrogance and swagger in the ring that was fun to watch.

In the course of a fight, it's seldom that fighters do more disgraceful things than refs and judges...

Prior to and after fights, it's hard to be worse than promoters and sanctioning bodies.
