Well, Watson was in a permanent hospital bed while Jones was being hid by his dad

Jones wouldn't fight for Don King so the Benn fight didn't happen

Eubank knew Jones could have beaten him so wanted nothing of him until it was too late, what value would it have been for Jones to fight a Eubank with two losses who wasn't a name in the States? Interestingly, Eubank was offered a lot of money to fight Jones in June 1999, probably because Jones had ran out of opponents and maybe wanted to fight Chris in London - watching the Thompson fights it's clear Eubank had lost little and could have still put on a great show, would have been cool!

              No.

Jones turned down $25million to fight Benn.

My dad is a friend of Steve Collins' family, and everyone knows how hard he tried to get a fight with Roy Jones Jr. He was led to believe on many occasions that the fight was going to happen, only for Roy to alter negotations, or slip out.

Roy said in that video that he made an offer to Collins. That is bull****.

When Steve Collins could not get Roy Jones, he decided to fight Joe Calzaghe instead.

However, Collins collapsed during training for that fight and retired from the sport, and so became Eubank-Calzaghe.

Collins wanted FIVE MILLION DOLLARS to fight Jones, which was fantasy money.

                    He was no Nigel Benn...

And no, Collins chickened out of the fight with Calzgahe. He collapsed in 1999 when he was preparing to fight Jones in a comeback, Howard Eastman was the one who hit him

Sorry mate, I got something confused there.

Yeah he backed out of the fighting Calzaghe in 97.

But in 99, he came out of retirement and he went into training to fight Calzaghe, with the hope of landing a fight with Jones. It was 99 that he collapsed during sparring. And doctors told him to stay out of the sport.

lol, and about the 5 million dollars. That's coming from Jones's mouth right? There's no way collins would turn down a reasonable paycheck.
