Cintron got owned by MArg. I doubt it will happen again but you can't erase the past. Now he better beat marg in a rematch as then no excuses will fly.Comment

i have'nt seen much of Cintron but i was not impressed by the way he virtually sat out the Margarito fight he showed a lack of heart IMO in that fight ,How ever he showed he can dig deep against Estrada ,Teddy Reid and he did KO mattyesse with ease and he looked technically far superior in that fight, look's like Manny Steward has been working his magic with him he look's much improved so i would give him a better chance with Margarito next time around
i still feel he need's another good performance against a top fighter too completely erase people's memory's for goodComment

There were several things going on around that fight (i know these because i grew up with kerm and know his cousins):
1. Cintron had surgery on his hand after the Teddy Reid fight.
2. Cintron was supposed to have a tuneup fight on the same card the night Marg tore the dudes ear off, but the surgery had been done incorrectly, his entire hand turned black with infection, and he had to have another surgery to correct the first one.
3. This lead to a 10 month layoff.
3. Cintron's promoters took the fight with 4 weeks to train, while cintron's hand was still recovering. He never really felt right about the fight.
4. Cintron needed to fight a couple more fights before Marg. He didnt start fighting until he was 20.
5. There were some personal issues going on at the time of the fight, which im not privy too, but know they existed.
6. His corner had no idea what to tell him when Marg wasnt affected by cintrons right hands. This is, I believe, why he switched over to manny.
I understand these sound like a bunch of excuses, but im not excusing the performance, just offering some insight and explanation. His performance was dismal in the fight. I believe he was beat before he got in the ring. Marg is cintron's brewster, and he needs to put that demon to bed. Non better than manny steward to teach him to do that. Marg-Cintron II should be a totally different fight. If it isnt, Im totally wrong about Kerm, but having known him from the time i was 9, I dont think i am. This could be a historic trilogy.Comment

Margarito owned Kermit is what happened. Kermit tried being rough, and Margarito was just rough back, Kermit hit Margarito with a good shot Margarito just shook it off smiled at him and threw back and Kermit was like ooooh ****..... Margarito dropped him once and after that Kermit was just looking for a way out so he wouldnt be in there with toney is what happened.
The fight was over in the 5th round I think... Kermit was crying.
So there will be no erasing..... ever... he needs to prove he has grown a pair and fight tony again.Comment

Williams shouldn't even be in the picture, if any thing he should pick 1 of the 2 losers from the hatton mayweather, cotto mosely fights, if he wants a payday tell him too call out the golden girl and discuss buisness in fish netsComment
