    thank you for the link.

here's what set me off, im sure you can see that this is an inflammatory statement when you so clearly DO know EXACTLY what i mean if you are so INTERESTED in the topic as to put PICTURES IN YOUR AVATAR AND SIG of said topic.

If I'm to answer your question though, maybe you should define your concept of "Black African".
First thing that popped into my head when I saw that was "elitist drivel", particularly in a forum like Boxingscene.

If you followed the type of paradigm that I follow, as it concerns population biology you'd see why I asked that question. My avatar and sig says nothing about "Black Afrcians", they merely hold that connotation, so obviously your state of mind has nothing to do with me, right? It was an important question given such narrow categorizations of what a "Black African" is sometimes. Former writers didn't even consider Ethiopians and Somali to be Black Africans, even though they are clearly more closely related to what these same people deemed "Black Africans" than to white Europeans. Same as applied to ancient Egypt's relationship to Nubia. So it was an important question and I wasn't being rude..

I dont buy it, I think it was meanspirited, but I except your apology

Cant expect me to be doing what you stated in the above quote if I use the perhaps erroneous, but COMMON term "Black Africans", then can you? Word to the wise; it's better to meet people where they are.

Okay, if you don't believe me, heed the same words from highly esteemed professor of anthropology at Howard University, Dr. S.O.Y. Keita.. Click here (link down, try later)...

In other words, it is a social term, not a scientific one. If you contend that it holds any scientific validity whatsoever, please feel free to explain and I'll happily point out where you're confused..

It's better to be objective and analytical instead of blindly parroting with out question to the validity of what you're parroting. This is how we've all progressed in the first place..
