First off, JMM could not have beaten MAB so convincingly. Im convinced MP is now a much better boxer now. Outboxing and not just outslugging Barrera is a HUGE improvement. Barrera outboxed JMM earlier this year but just wasnt active enough. Good fight to take for MP. Take the JMM fight and then move up. Forget about the Guzman/Soto fight, clocks ticking. People want to see him move up yet another weight division (Fly, Bantam, Feather and now Light). The big fight wont come right away and he shouldnt rush into it. PAC would have to tune up first and adjust to the weight. 2 fights minimum before taking the Lightweight champ. If MP could get a fight with JMM early next year. Maybe April. Get the win. Then move up and get that tune up. Tune up fight would be late 2008. Take one more fight in Lightweight early 2009. Then finally fight whoever is on top late 2009. Boy thats alot to ask. MP would be 31 by then.
What I would like to see MP do

Since Top Rank and GBP are now getting along, we might see Pac vs JMM, more profitable than Pac vs Guzman. -
How many PPV's have you bought this year?
PAC vs MAB was my first this year. Ill defintly buy the Holyfield fight Saturday and Ill buy Cotto vs Mosely. Ill have to get Jones vs Trinidad too.
So how many PPV's have you all bought so far this year. (I meant to post a poll, but messed that up.)Last edited by Mike Tyson77; 10-07-2007, 09:04 PM.Comment

well me and my friends pitch in for PPVs...the only fights we have ordered this year so far have been Mayweather vs. De La Hoya and Liddel vs. Jackson. We will order Cotto vs. Mosley, Vargas vs. Mayorga and Mayweather vs. Hatton...Comment

If JMM wants some real money he should be begging MP for the fight. IF MP moves up. No more big payday's for the division. Guzman has yet to prove that he could hang with the best. He doesnt deserve that kind of money yet. He wouldnt sell half as much as JMM.Comment
