Yeah but though he got a knock out his last fight he didn't look great and looked sloppy doing it. And it was just a tune up but Solis who? Maybe I'm missing something but this guy wasn't even on my radar!

Ppl slip up on fights, remember its months later, not a few days later. Having a fight months later could you're not going to have the same fight consistently. It also doesnt help that Barrera wasnt fighting.

You guys are magnifying this too much.

Even if Freddie tries to make Manny a complete fighter by developing his right hand, making him more defense-minded, it will only work that much. He wouldn't be able change what Manny is. Manny is an offensive-fighting machine. He is best when charging forward and throwing sick and wicked punches in all direction.

What Freddie needs to do is develop Manny ring generalship - how to cut opponents in the ring and set him up for his devastating shots which I saw to soe degree last night, and improve his footwork and balance.

His footwork was more effective last night although his balance is still a suspect - but due partly because he tries to lunge some of his punches bringing his head and body forward and is a no-no against an excellent counter-puncher like JMM. I still like the fact that he's got the right hook added into his arsenal to wear his opponent and right jabs that are still a work in progress though.

Pure aggression, high intensity and fast-paced action and some degree of ring-generalship, proper balance and footwork plus a decent defensive skills is enough for Manny to win any fight while he's atill at it. I don't see anybody beating him if he develops into something like that.
