lacy could win his old belt back, he could beat berrio. only problem is, by the time jeff gets back into it, bute will have that belt, and he's more like calzaghe than berrio is. lacy beat everyone he fought except calzaghe, i'd say that makes lacy pretty damn good. he was beating tsypko's ass again before he tore his shoulder

Jeff Lacey has to learn how to pace himself and use his jab,his boxing skills are limited and he has not shown any growth,he's really just a slugger with a punchers chance.

who has won every fight except one.. give him more credit

he is a good fighter, with limited skills.. but he punches like a truck.. hes a hunter. he hunts fighters down and wears them out.. i like his style, and he was quickly turning into a superstar be4 he fought calzaghe..

I don't understand why just because he had one bad loss he's damaged goods. Some people make it seem like all of a sudden a fighter is supposed to stay undefeated. He lost to a good fighter. theres nothing wrong with that. give the man a chance to bounce back first before you completely write him off.

He took time to recover from the loss. I just hope the lay-off does not affect him.

i hope so too. i still think jeff lacy is a good fighter regardless of his loss to Calzaghe. If anything he most likely learned from his experiance and he'll hopefully come back as a better fighter. In any professionaly sport when your undefeated your gonna come across that person or team thats gonna have your number. The important thing is to learn from that loss and come back better than you were before. That IMO is what makes an athlete great, being able to bounce back. I'm confident that Jeff Lacy will do as such and I wish him the best of luck.

It's just crazy how many boxing fans wrote him off already.

I think Jeff got many more good fights in him, if he can go a few more fights and build his momentum up a little bit he can most definitely win a major title, I can see Jeff coming back and beating 3 out of the top 5 in his class and that says a lot for him especially after such a bad loss, Calzaghe is that needle out the haystack ya dig, he ain't the longest current reigning champion today by coincidence dogz he's the truth so for Lacy to lose to him doesn't really take away from the way I view Lacy, he took him on early, he tried to do basically something like Jermain except Jermain won, however look at the opponents, Bernard ain't no Calzaghe, he doesn't onslaught you like Cal does so Lacy had it harder, even still he finishes on his feet, he showed heart like none other yo with both his eyes cut and him being all ****ed up, in a position he's never been in his whole life rolled up into 12 rounds I would say he dealt with it, he survived so hell yea I say Lacy can return, I always say you can never count out a puncher, you never know what shot they will land, luck is there sometimes so I'll never count Lacy out, look at Glen Johnson ya feel me.. 100

I'm not getting my hopes up, but it would be great if he came back in the game.
I guess DLH must have some kind of reason to believe in him
