      That was a quick stoppage...

Once again Golota starts slowly, once again he decides to brawl when he's hurt.

When he gets in with another good fighter theyre not going to let him off the hook.

I do not know how many times I must say it but I will say it again. Sam Colonna is the worst trainer for Golota. He has no clue how to properly prepare his fighter for a fight. Once again he was cold upon entering the ring and it took him the first couple rounds to get warmed up. That is what the trainer is supposed to do in the lockerroom. Warm up his fighter. Another thing I noticed about Golota is. He now fights flat footed. He does not have the same bounce he did when he was younger. He slaps and paws with his jab as opposed to sticking it in there like Wlad Klitschko does. What ever happened to his straight right hand that he used to throw with confidence?

Im thinking the ref thought the cut was severe enough to merit a stop, but it didn't look too bad to me.

I've always wanted Golota to succeed, it could be because i feel sorry for him. Its too late for him now, I don't think he should pursue fights with the young guns of the division. He looked like a stiff old man in there.

I agree, horrible stoppage, Is golota a legetimate contender? If so because of a dimenished heavyweight division?

Golota still has underrated offensive skills, but he still fights standing straight up with left hand down, so as soon as he faces a decent skilled puncher its lights out. Let's not forget he made Brewster look like Mike Tyson.
