My prediction is 10rd knockout in the favor of shane mosley ... or shane mosley UD ... either way Cotto hits the canvas 2 or more times from a body shot and or a flush straight right hand.

I like shane in this fight, but then again iv never seen him up against a sustained body attack. I think cotto will be rocked in this fight like most of his fights. But if he makes it through to round 8/9 he may be in with a shout. Cotto has got a brilliant jab as well and mosley hasnt so i think shane will have probs with that. There is also the factor of him getting old overnight also no matter how good he looked in his last fight it can happen at 35.

I'll say this...

The slight edge may go to Cotto since he's the younger and hungrier one,
and has matured as a fighter.

Shane, on the other hand, can eake out a win due to his experience in championship fights with various top ranked opponents.

So, it'll come down to who's head is in it the most, and who's more intelligent.

Something tells me if this goes the full 12 Cotto will win, even if Shane should get the nod. This kind of reminds me of DLH vs Whitaker, the old great facing the rising young star who is the future of the sport.

Cotto fights like a dog.. just pure attack with little defense or slickness. Mosely will trap Cotto and win. Cotto will not be able to avoid Mosely's punches and he will be countered all night long untill he gets KOd.

This is kinda how I see it going... You never now, Mosely could wilt under the pressure, but I believe he will trap Cotto and KO him with the volume of punches.
