    A couple notes on Pacquiao/Barrera 2

1.) This fight was not the fight that any of us had anticipated. Barrera found himself unable to break Pacquiao's defense, and Pacquiao found himself unable to put Barrera in any kind of danger.

2.) Barrera complained about the decision, which proves he's probably the most stubborn fighter I've ever seen.

3.) Pacquiao was completely unable to put his combinations together very smoothly, and never once was able to damage the much older and battle tested Barrera. I find myself wondering why such a violent and fast fighter like Pacquiao could not close the deal against the slower, older, and weaker Barrera.

4.) Despite the ugliness of the fight, it will be one that will be remembered as Barrera's final performance in the ring, and Pacquiao's worst performance in the ring.

5.) It was very obvious Marco Antonio barrera was more interested in surviving the fight, than actually winning it.

The translator did translate everything exactly. He said that we proved thenaysayers wrong but what Barrera said was that everybody htought that he was going to get tkoed again, and he showed them wrong. What's ugly about this comment was that he was trying to pull a Roy Jones even before the fight started. Embarassing for a fighter of his stature.

Are you forgetting the fact that Barrera has had a brain operation and how forceful Pacquiao's power is? The man has a family to take care of and there's life outside of boxing.

Barrera made Pacquiao fight a boxing match., Barrera outboxed Pacquiao for much of the fight and had Manny feeling cautious enough to not try and make it a fight.

How did he just take a pay day? He was cautious indeed but he wanted to win the fight with his jab. It didn't work so tip your hat to Pacquiao. Although I thought Barrera won the first 3 rounds. Just for the fact he was landing the jab better earlier.

Not at all. What I'm saying is he shouldn't be in the ring at all then.

This is the FIGHT game. They risk their life everytime the step in the ring. Barrera knows that. He chose to collect the payday and NOT fight. Thats wrong.

Legacy aside, Barrera just did some rotton ****. He belittled himself and his country by not giving everything he had! Plate in his head or not.

COME TO WIN, OR DON'T COME AT ALL!!!!
