Mora will never fight him in Ohio. The only way I see this fight happening is if it's in the southwest. That way he'll have a two or three fans in the crowd

Strange that we're talking about punching bags like Mora and Duudy, when Pavlik needs to get past Taylor 168 lb catchweight. It's not a question whether Taylor will exercise his rematch clause, its just a matter of when.

I see Taylor beating Pavlik in the rematch, since Taylor won't need to kill himself to make weight for the 2nd fight. If you've ever had to make weight for anything, much less a fight, you know how exhausting it is.

Pavlik rebounded in Round 3 because he's tough, but also because Taylor had completed gassed himself in the 2nd, when he had Pavlik in seriously ugly trouble. Taylor had nothing left after that. Won't happoen in the rematch. He'll come in fresh and firing and will stay fresh at 168.

        Ya just dont do it.

He's a phony. A frauid. If it wasn't for The Contender he wouldn't be jack ****. Ishe Smith is on another level then the kid and he fights 6 lbs south.

He wouldn't even be a sparring partner.....He won 4 or 5 (whichever it was) FIVE ROUND FIGHTS on the contender. And his rec is what..17-0. This guy aint legit.
yeah he is untested...so was pavlik before he fought miranda.....and just so you know, he has been sparring of good fighters...he dropped oba carr when he was an amateur, he has sparred vargas and those guys...he just easily beat mexican olympian alfredo angulo in sparring according to doug fischer...he just went 30 rounds with james kirkland... and kirkland says the guy can fight....

I think Mora would do better than a lot of you guys think. I think Taylor had the ability to go more of the boxing route and not trade with Pavlik as much and coast to a win but that wasnt his game plan. Miranda and Taylor stood in front of Pavlik too much and paid the price. I know for a fact that Mora wouldnt be caught dead standing still in front of pavlik. I'm not saying Mora would win, but you guys seem to think Pavlik could beat any boxer in any weight division now.

Zertuche, Miranda, Taylor........... anyone see a pattern here? Zertuche is a brawler, Miranda is the same with a little more skill, and Taylor chose to fight more than box. Pavlik doesnt like guys that move and can box really good. Three fights with guys that can punch that stood right in front of Pavlik for the most part. I think the Pavlik guys are making sure he doesnt get in the ring with someone thats a little bit slick even.

Yeah....that means jack ****. He's been inactive for how long.

The dude is unstable on his feet. It's all good and fine to take shots with headgeer...but the pro is a different game.

And by the way, I heard Ishe was starting to beat him down....imagine if that fight was even a 10 rounder. Mora woulda been crying for his momma.

By the way, Pavlik is a top-tier guy who would walk through both Mora and Duddy. Neither guy has the skills necessary to get to Pavlik. Pavlik might consider one of those guys though, if he beats Taylor again and then needs a soft fight to stay busy.

Trouble with the boy from Youngstown is he probably won't look for any easy fights. If he beats Taylor again, he'll be hungry for Winky or Joe or Kessler, right after, you watch. Fight fans will want it and so will Pavlik.

He is legit enough to kick your ass, and mine probably. I believe Pavlik gets an optional defense right off the bat, so this is fair. Someone can check on that though.

Ishe Smith choked in his last important fight. Mora has never been on HBO, only ESPN, so it's not as if he has gotten huge rewards disproportionate to what he should be getting.

But he is a skilled enough guy that if someone takes him too lightly, he could pull an upset.

How many huge upsets does there have to be for people to humble their mouthy opinions and recognize much crazier things could (and have) happened.
