He should. Though since Adamek couldn't touch Dawson, I wouldn't expect Briggs to.

It seems none of the big names want to fight Dawson so a fight with Briggs would make sense. I would rather see Dawson fight Diaconu. I was dissapointed to heard Diaconu backed out with an injury because I thought he would give Dawson a fight. I just want to see Dawson get challenged, his last couple of fights his overmatched his opponents.

Soon as Dawson won the title Briggs tried to make the bout, but he got knocked back by King.

Would like to see the bout as well.
Dawson's fighting hand picked opponents, & if he doesn't fight some-one decent in his next fight I can see another Taylor phenomenon happening.

Briggs if he's in form I think is definetly a live underdog, & I wouldn't be relying on the Adamek bouts as the yardstick.

Adamek seemed to have absolutely no idea how to fight a southpaw - seemed completely bewildered every time Dawson stuck his jab in his face.
Hardly through a decent punch until the 9th or 10th round.

Brigg's plan of attack will be pretty obvious, but have a decent chance of success
- come in low, slip the jab behind a tight defence & come through with the big right.
This is Brigg's bread & butter, & he's good at it.

Would really like to see Dawson seriously tested, & I think Briggs would be a good guy to do it.

when he defeated adamek that proved he was a worthy champ but if he cannot get any big name fighters he should fight briggs .
