    Proposed Deal Between HBO and UFC is Dead

    According to a recent report by Kevin Iole of Yahoo! Sports, HBO stated on Friday that a proposed deal between the network and the UFC is dead in the water. The two companies have been in discussions for more than a year. [details]

          That is GOOD FOR US, because not everyone has HBO. I believe that being on Network tv is better for the fans but being on HBO is better for the UFC pockets.

              I was thinking about this recently.. No shows.

              HBO backed away IMO.

              If the UFC allowed the deal to fall through because of production they're ****ing ******. HBO puts on a much better show than the cheesy crap the UFC comes up with on it's own.

                idk how good this would have been for UFC... but it would have been GREAT for HBO. lots of new subscribers. an entire new fanbase subscribing for fights. Shame they lost it

                But UFC is just restricting there fan base... idk how good it would be for them

                  yea i agree. I think HBO would add a touch of class to the broadcast.

                  But i think UFC is more concerned with the Broadcasters, like Rogan and that other guy.

                    I'm glad because UFC would have been taking away the dates boxing would be getting. UFC can find another network.
