Funny! Thats the same reason i give to why Winky never moved up to Middleweight untill Hopkins moved out! Then fought an ancient Hopkins and still lost.

Vargas stayed at jr. middleweight cause thats where all the MONEY was back then!

vargas lost to tito because he got caught up in the legends of the battles of us ricans and mexicans and he wanted to be a part of it.i actually see fernando winning an even fight el feroz was very good technically before the tito match.

Before Trinidad barged in and ruined everything, Vargas and David Reid were on a collision course. I remember it was like almost scheduled and then Vargas had legal trouble. That would have been a great fight and would have made ALOT of sense. Thanks alot tito
