Pavlik doesnt need the Bull**** that Steward brings to the table. He's better than that and leeches like Steward should get exposed for what they are.

      An oppurtunistic leech.

Manny won't teach Pavlik anything new except holding.
As you say, chemistry is important.. so maybe taylor and manny dont have chemistry (or conversly, perhaps you're just too quick to jump on the Taylor hater band wagon??), i dont ****ing know. Maybe Pavlik and Manny would have chemistry. Maybe they wouldnt. My point is Pavlik has holes in his game. He's a tall fighter and Manny has had success with tall fighters. He trained Hearns and LL for ****s sake. Manny is a respected trainer and he may be able to improve Pavlik's game.. or maybe not. Like any one of us really knows.

A trainer and fighter must "gel" together or it's a waste of time.

Wow.. there seems to be a lot of selling Manny Steward short on this thread. I guess he hasn't trained countless worl champions, most of whom he trained from the beginning of their careers. I must have been wrong this whole time.

Pavlik will always be with Jack Lowe. I don't see him leaving him. Just like Winky and Dan Birmingham.

The guys been with Pavlik since the day he stepped into the gym, and the just won THE middleweight championship of the world.

Like Pavlik said, where were you guys 5 years ago?
