okay i have been wondering for the past couple days. How come ever since pavlik knocked out taylor all of a sudden he can beat everybody. Someone even wrote that he would knock out ali in the first round. come on thats just crazy. everybody is entitled to their opinion but damn. Now people saying he would destroy roy jones, hopkins, and winky wright. Are you guys just so happy for his victory that you've become delusional? Roy Jones and Hopkins would be too big for pavlik and winky would outbox him. I don't know i'm just voicing my opinion. What do you guys think?

He's got that great equalizer man. That right hand bomb makes him competitive against anyone. The way he destroyed Miranda and JT is some impressive type **** that has the boxing world talking. No fighter in the last 2 years has destroyed elite competition like Kelly Pavlik has been doing so people are just naturally hoping for a new big star to carry boxing. Out with the old and in with the new.

Yeah, the kid is definitely the genuine article. I don't think there's a middleweight out there who could survive with him for 12 rounds right now.

In fact, I have to struggle to think of someone who could beat him. Calzaghe at supermiddle is the only guy who comes to mind. I try not to over-rate anyone but seriously, who's gonna deal with this animal?

Pavlik is a good entertaining fighter no doubt about it. This same scenerio happens all two often in sports. In boxing the REAL great fighters are judged on past accomplishments not winning one fight. Is Buster Douglas a great fighter because he K.O.d Mike Tyson?? I don't think so. I'm hoping for the sport that Pavlik turns out to be something special , he seems to be a nice guy and he can fight. Time will tell. Right now he's the man in the middleweight division

So i take it you think hopkins couldn't beat pavlik if they fought now? i don't know cause hopkins has pretty decent defense and wont allow hisself to get hit constantly with the same shot. I think hop will outbox him but will be really hurt after the fight is over.
