Duddy may get SERIOUSLY hurt if he fights Pavlik

I can't believe Duddy's camp are actually trying to make this fight happen, it's a big mistake and it could ruin Duddy's career. Who has Duddy ever beat, a past his prime Campas, that joke #1 Daddy Bonsante, and no-name Dupre Strickland. All of those guys I mentioned aren't even top 30 Middleweights and Duddy has had problems with all of them. I am a fan of Duddy because he has big time Heart, a pretty good chin and decent power. But the fact of the matter is that Duddy gets hit way too much and he has some of the worst defence I have ever seen. Before Duddy takes this fight I wanna see him take on a legitimate top 10 Middleweight to justify his Title Shot. If this fight goes down Duddy's own huge Heart is gonna get him hurt because he is gonna take a prolonged beating and eventually get KO'd and possibly suffer a Joe Mesi Like injury. When you are facing a power punching Beast like Pavlik, the last thing you wanna do is block punches with your face.

Yep, totally agree. Duddy will get thrown around like a doll. He is fooling himself if he thinks he has a legitamte chance, all he is riding on his a contender's chance.

Duddy needs to sc**** at the 10-20 ranks in his two next fights and work his way down the list.

    This fight should not happen.

    Give Pavlik Abraham.

duddy is exciting, irish, and doesn't have a chance in hell.i think he should think about maybe fighting the prospects in the middleweight division.to clear him out for a shot.maybe against sturm he's got a shot.

Everybody knows this. Duddy's a tune up, nothing more, for the fight after that which will probably be Taylor again, or the winner of Calzaghe/Kessler at a catch weight. Agree?

Duddy isn't top of the list of contenders right now.
I think Pavlik would destroy him anyway.
BUT you can't deny him the fact he wants to have a go.
St Patricks day massacre coming up if he gets his shot.

I agree, but I am puzzled as to why Duddy's camp would want there boy to be a sacrificial lamb when he is a marketable Irish New Yorker who hasn't even faced a top 30 fighter yet. I would like to see Duddy take on Zuniga or Zertuche next, those fights would be absolute wars. I think of Duddy as a Middleweight Arturo Gatti, he is very exciting and he has tons of heart, but right now it appears he will not be able to hang with the Elite.

Maybe they're not confident that he beats those other guys you mentioned, so why not cash in on a world championship fight if they can. If he loses its to the best guy out there so people will understand and by chance if he somehow wins they have a world champion. I dont see Duddy getting better so there is no point of waiting in my eyes.
