His boxing style is just the frosting on the cake. His manner of choosing opponents is the CAKE.

I wouldn't go so far as to use the word "coward", but then again the word "cautious" is a vast understatement.

You can't take Williams beating Magarito and say that Floyd would have done the same. Williams was a physically bigger man that could take away Margs advantages, you can't say that Floy would have done the same but we will never know because Floyd wanted no part of him and now we'll never know.

Well, you sure cannot in good conscience lump him with the real warriors of the sport, that would be a great disservice to their bravery in the ring, so "coward" is appropriate, at least in a relative sense.

Marciano was alot like protected fighters of today. Now, is Floyd a coward, thats hard to say, anyone who chooses to get hit for a living, I dunno if they are cowards. But he is ****y, and very annoying, and may choose and pick fights. But thats boxing when you dont have a commission unified who has 1 champ and orders fights no matter what.

In a relative sense, I most certainly agree. He is not a "warrior" as far as I'm concerned. I place him somewhere between being a skilled businessman and a fraud.

Won't you make a distinction between an Izzy Vasquez/Rafael Marquez and a Floyd Mayweather in terms of being warrior-like? None whatsoever?

                  toe to toe quote:
"So is it PBF fault that back in the day Mosley asked for 10 mil to fight him knowing he wouldn't get that kind of money? Is it PBF fault that Hatton wasn't ready 2 years ago? It is PBF fault Mosley turned him down twice last year? Is it PBF fault that Kostya was a showtime fighter and his was hard to get a HBO and a SHowtime fighter together?
So who is it that PBF ducked? Don't say Margarito because that would be a lie. Are you saying that Sugar Ray Leonard has nobody on his resume that was the caliber of fighter that you are saying those people were? PBF is nowhere near perfect but the **** some of yall say is so far off base it makes no sense at all."

He ducked Kostya Tszyu at 140 lbs. Period. Google "Mayweather and the 5 Bums" for my concise and detailed explanation with the evidence included.

I dont think hes a warrior, hes no Gatti in that dept. But coward and warrior are two diff things, one maybe not be a warrior, but not be a coward either. Now I do want to see Hatton KO this mofo.lol.
