In what way?... Well, lets see... All the worst ways; let's say.

Both Mayweather and Tszyu are conventional fighters who are at their best when they have a cautious opponent who gives them a few feet. Both are excellent counterpunchers who favor leads and 3/4 to full power shots. Both fighters have exceptional ring intelligence and amazing accuracy on their punches. Both fighters are at their best in the center of the ring. Both fighters have enormous egos and prefer aesthically pleasing action. Both fighters have been made to look like ****ing fools by Zab Judah before ultimately taking control. Both fighters prefer to be the one pressing forward. Both fighters have appeared on Dancing With The Stars.

Neither fighter likes to be crowded or clinched. Neither fighter is adept at infighting in the mold of Duran, Julio Ceasar Chavez, or Henry Armstrong. Neither fighter likes to fight in perpetual motion. Neither fighter can generate optimal power in the clinch. Neither fighter likes to be hit in the body (but who does?). Neither fighter can beat Ricky Hatton.

        Perpetual motion folks.

        Perpetual motion.

The only thing you can do to stop a guy with perpetual motion is beat him at his own game the way Collazo did Hatton, and Corrales did Castillo.

You know.. Unless you're exceptionally taller and/or more powerful.

But Ricky Hatton is no Jose Luis Castillo when it comes to perpetual motion.

Hatton is much closer to Armstrong when it comes to that.

If Mayweather CANNOT knock Hatton out his chances of winning are slight in my ****ing opinion. He can counterpunch Hatton's head so much the entire four corners of the ringside crowd are covered in Hatton's blood sweat and tears. If he can't stop or DRAMATICALLY slow down Hatton Floyd is done. Hatton has the picture in mind. He's the one who's willing to die. Mayweather will have to apply one of the worst beatings in history to stop this guy! Hatton has the gates of heaven on the other side of this outcome. Dying is nothing.

Honestly, in his position I would die to. I would fight as if it was life and death - and I know Ricky Hatton can do that much better than the rest of us. Maybe the best in the world. Hatton has proven NOBODY has a greater sense of urgency. He regularly fights the way De La Hoya did in the 12th against Quartey. Regularly.

I like Katsidis as well though with the urgency thing.

Manny Pacquiao is also an arenaline junkie. Good ****.

Fine, Hatton ****sucker. Click off all the the dumb ass, apple to oranges camparisons you want. Hatton is going the way of Gatti come Dec 8th. Which is to say, HE GONNA GET ****D...

No, but seriously, Kostya was coming off a long layover when he came into his fight with Hatton. WAY past his prime. I like Hatton a lot. I like his fighting style. And I'm not counting out Hatton totally when he faces PBF. But I just don't seem him getting past the 8th round. PBF is going to be busting his ass up with lead rights ALL night. I just hope Hatton dosen't bleed to death...

              Another pedestrian breakdown..

              Got anything new or interesting?

"Break him down" gets used more often than I scratch my balls.

The crowd is going to be a factor IMO.

Everytime Hatton starts doing his thing on Mayweather the crowd is going to go crazy. They always do when the superstar champion is on the ropes and covering up. I don't know if it will be like Tyson vs. Holyfield I - but there's gonna be some mayhem going on. I'm pretty damn sure of it. Especially with Hatton in the role of underdog. There are alot of people waiting for Mayweather to lose and all those present are going to make themselves heard.

Floyd is going to work his magic as well - oh yeah. And there will be OOH's and AAH's. The place will be packed with sportsbook stubs on Mayweather.

                It'll be vocal.

Good post, Addie. Frank and objective.

But, I disagree with your post before that when you say Zab Judah made Tszyu look like a fool. Tszyu blew Judah up in the 2nd. Judah was looking good, but he always looks good starting out. It was only a matter of time before KT dominated Judah, though. KT specialized in dismantling the fast, flashy, boxer type. Is it any wonder that neither Oscar nor Floyd ever met Tszyu at 140? That's no coincidence to me. Tszyu way too dangerous to go around risking superstar status on. Tszyu HOF at 140. Dominated that weight class for over a decade. C'mon give him the credit that he deserves.
