That exactly how it plays out, banks gives him all he wants but smith barely wins and he is eliminated thank god.

and his style is perfect for short fights...against manfredo he basically lost because he doesnt have power to keep people off of him for a lot of rounds...but i think he may be able to do it for 5, enough to make it a close fight....

        Agreed - very good fight.

McCrary managed to make it reasonably close for the first round & a half, but then it looked like the experienced Bika would just take over.

Great come-back in the 4th by McCrary - real gutsy stuff.
Then Bika comes back from almost going down & starts hammering McCrary.

        Damn good fight.

McCrary's the kind of guy that's the heart & soul of boxing
        - probably never quite make it to a title shot, but he'll give a hell of lot of entertaining fights trying.
This is a guy who really will put it all out in a fight, time & time again.

As for Bika - good solid contender, tough as hell with a great deal of strength & power, but doesn't quite have the speed or the sharpness to get him over a true championship calibre fighter.

Think Codrington has a decent chance to outpoint him over 5 if he fights smart - he's got the speed & the slicker skills - if he doesn't mix it think he can last the 5.
However, would favour him over Soliman these days - Sam's just too small at Super-Middle, & he's not the quickest starter of late.

I've never seen Smith fight. Banks looks like he would be a powerful guy, but he's not. He has some sting in his straight right, and thats about it. This is probably going to be a great fight. His fight with Peter was all action.
