    Hatton: I don't need Witter

Ricky responding to Junior Witter yet again claiming Hatton is ducking him.

He was very disrespectful to me in my post-fight interview after I won my British title against Jon Thaxton.

He probably regrets that to this day. Frank Warren said further down the road you'll fight for big money. But he built me up, but didn't build Junior up.

I was fighting Freddie Pendleton and Vince Phillips and Junior was still fighting six-rounders.

We're still a million miles apart. I remember he fought that Russian fighter a couple of years ago and struggled. I fought a Russian and his name was Kostya Tszyu.

I've enjoyed seeing him squirm, fighting nobodies and getting no money.

I still don't see myself ever fighting the man who has spent his whole career slagging me off. Why should I give him that pay day?

I've got Floyd Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya lined up. Junior has Paulie Malignaggi.

IF Hatton wasn't fighting FMJ at welterweight, I would really want to see this fight.

That's something to be proud of ?!?!

And how is what Ricky said there any different than what Mayweather says about Hatton??

WHILE HATTON WAS FIGHTING FREDDIE PENDLETON, MAYWEATHER WAS FIGHTING DIEGO CORRALES

So you think that Hatton should be fighting Witter and not Mayweather? Or was it just another opportunity to bash Hatton?

It was pointing out that Hatton is doing EXACTLY what he was unhappy that Floyd has been doing to him.

                True or not?

Depending how Hatton does against PBF, he has DLH, Mosely, COtto, and they are all above Witer in the pecking order i think.

I totally agree, it would do British boxing the world of good. What has Hatton got to lose?

Also his best chance of winning a WBC belt.
