I still say with 100% confidence that Oscar was way tougher of a fight than Hatton will be. And Floyd fought a complete different Castillo. No doubts in my mind that Floyd takes this win.
How Tough is Mayweather's Body ?

So listen... I have something important to say about what you have said right here.
Jose Luis Castillo was always considered a body puncher, much like Barrera, and now, Hatton.
Keep in mind that Floyd Mayweather Jr. had been fighting at 130 all of his career until he moved up to fight Castillo. So Castillo was the bigger guy, and the punches he was throwing were probably unlike what Floyd felt at 130.
Still with me?
Now, Floyd has just fought at 154, against a big muh-****er in De La Hoya (who had previously fought at 160). Floyd is moving back down to 147. Hatton, on the other hand, is moving up to 147.
Now, riddle me this. If Floyd could take Castillo's punches to the body (because you said they got in a lot), how the **** are Hatton's going to be any different?
Let's take another angle now. If Floyd was able to absorb Oscar's body punches on May 5th (considering he probably was a small light heavyweight on fight night), how the hell is Hatton going to be able to do more damage to Floyd's body than Oscar did?
Those were just some things I would like you to consider.Comment

Im honesty afraid of this.We all know Hatton is gonna seriously test Floyd's body on Dec.8. Mayweather did show that he is fairly durable to the body in his fights with Castillo, but that fight was at 135 and Hatton is the best body puncher in boxing IMO. The bodyshot he KO'd Castillo with would have KO'd any Light Welterweight or Welterweight in boxing, including Floyd. I am sticking to my prediction that Ricky Hatton is gonna shock the world and KO Mayweather with a brutal bodyshot to the liver.

Also consider that Castillo had never been dropped by a body shot before. IMO you're placing too much consideration on weight. It is important but not overriding. Some fighters are better with more weight, some aren't. That's a fact.So listen... I have something important to say about what you have said right here.

I feel Mayweather has one of the best physiques in the game at the moment but what helps him avoid the body shots is his ability to avoid being stuck in a situation where a body shot will come in.Comment
