Or is Pavlik really being overrated right now? I mean the guy has not been champion for a week and already people are matching him up with greats like Griffith, Monzon, and others. Give it some time, at least a year or two and then we can maybe talk about legacy.

He's made a good start by beating Miranda and Taylor.
But you are right he needs a few more fights with top opposition yet.
Hopefully he won't do a B-Hop and pad his record with blown up welters and second rate middleweights.
It would be nice to see him move up and chase fights at SMW as well somethng B-Hop never bothered doing until the opportunity arose in an easy win against Tarver.
So far so good though, he is a breath of fresh air.
Good for the sport and in exciting fights.
Hopefully more promoters will take note that matching top gfighters gets more fans and more money generated.
They might finally say **** the alphabet trinkets lets give the fans some value for money.

I agree... he is good, no doubt, but people are annointing him as boxing's best fighter of the new millenium, a tad prematurely.

i like him as a fighter.. he comes to FIGHT.. not **** around..

i think its too early to see greatness. he has 2 good names on his record.. give the guy some credit.. he Knocked out a guy bhop, and winky couldnt beat.. \

he needs to sharpen up on his boxing skills a bit.. throw that jab with conviction and shoot the right hand to the chest(like hopkins). hopkins lands most of his right hands with his head facing the floor.. palvik should learn that..

defense, needs improvement.. u cant always use ur good chin.. he gotta use head movement.. but thats the case with almost all boxers. not enough head movement.. he should watch some primse tyson videos for that..

he doesnt need ES or any new trainer. just a few basics.. thats my 2cents
