Who thought for a brief moment that Berto

had a chance of defeating Cotto while watching his last fight?

I did and then came to my senses that he was fighting Estrada.

I actually thought the opposite. Estrada fought a tremdous fight but If it was Cotto in there attacking Berto like that rather than Estrada Berto would be on his back looking up at the lights. I dont think it's impossible that Berto could beat Cotto, it would probably be a good fight but I would't favor him.

I though he would be KO by any of the top guys at 147. He got hit way too much, needs to work on his defense and he looked slower than I've seen him in other fights.

He looked OK, certainly not ready for the big time. He's too easy to hit, and he doesn't even have great technique on his punches. Leave this alone for at least two or three more fights.

Fighting Cotto now or soon would ruin the kid. Isn't he only 22 or 23 anyway?
