Can Mayorga Turn His Career Around ?

I hope so, I have been a pretty big fan of this guy ever since he stuck his chin out and let Trinidad and Forrest tee off on him. His Trash Talking is still unmatched, even today. There was a time when he was the most entertaining fighter on the planet, but IMO he shouldn't have moved up from 147 because he was a monster there. Once Mayorga KO's Vargas do you think he can turn his career around ?

it will be interesting if Mayorga moves to 147 like he says he will. I would love to see it........if he does move then that means he is taking his training seriously and will be a completely different fighter than his last few fights going back to his old self

Williams vs Mayorga would be a dope fight at 147. When Mayorga was first at 147 he had a titanium chin, nobody could hurt him. I am worried Mayorga dosen't have that chin anymore based off his fight with DLH. Williams can crack, I think he would probably KO/TKO Mayorga unfortunately in a Fight Of The Year.

Don't let his fight with Margarito fool you, Margarito has an Iron Chin and Williams wasn't always commiting to his power in that fight.

Williams dosen't have one punch KO power, he has heavy hands and he KO/TKO's fighters with an accumulation of punches.

Last I checked Mayorga had to take a form of steroid to help him make 154. What makes him or anyone else think he can make 147?

mayo is no longer dedicated so i vote no even thought he is one of my favorite fighters you have to want it and him druging to make wait last two fights and then fight at 162 probably spells the end. He will drug to make weight and be tired late... maybe he could take out the mosley-cotto winner though

if u see williams KO % is getting smaller everytime i would call him a boxer instead of a puncher...i believed is because he so big for this weight class that soon enough he would not make that weight.
