Does EDISON MIRANDAS stock go up????

Just curious if anyone thinks differently about Miranda ater Pavlik-Taylor

On the one hand, Taylor nearly knocked Pavlik out, whereas Miranda had the rep of being a massive puncher and never did more then buzz Pavlik.

But on the other Hand, Miranda kept it competitive and stood up to dozens of straight right hands, the kind that took Taylor out.

I personally am not changed. I think Miranda has a future at 168. Maybe he wont be a champion, but maybe he will contend for one.

I mean, Mundine wont be able to fight again right? he's blind in one eye! So their goes the WBA title and maybe someone Miranda can beat gets it.

I mean, he can definetly punch BIG in my opinion, so he poses a threat to anyone he faces. And he's not a bad fighter when hes going forward and on the attack.

I do think its hopeless for him against the Kessers and Calzaghes of the division

I think anyone Pavlik is able to hit is potentionally KO'd. Ranking folks relative to how they lost doesn't make much sense. Pavlik could fight a voluntary against a bum with a padded record - get KO'd in 8, and that doesn't mean he's better than Taylor or Miranda based on the round he hit the canvas

I don't think Miranda should be written off at all just yet.
He is young and still learning and he is prepared to fight whoever.
I wish more fighters had that attitude.
In his fight with Pavlik I don't think he looked a 100% either and rumour has it he struggled to make weight.
I guess this question will be answered when we see if he is any stronger at 168.
Like him or not you can't deny Miranda has given fans value for money in his last few outings.
If Miranda can inprove his Boxing ability to match his aggression and power then he might well cause some waves.
I for one look forward to seeing him in action.

Miranda's not done there's only a couple of guys that can survive a punch from him. I would think a bout with Taylor hasd 168 would be gighly competitive.

Miranda just needs some more name wins. I wouldn't pay attention to very many users on here who call folks "overrated bums"

Most of them don't know much about boxing in the first place

Someone who really thinks Miranda isn't a legit top contender will have more reasons, and a more detailed description to back up their statement

You're right! The difference b/w the Miranda and Taylor fight was that Pavlik made a ****** mistake of dropping his hands taunting Jermain. He got hit with 8 or 9 clean shots, and then he got up at the count of two. If Miranda hit him with 8 or 9 clean shots I am not so sure he gets up that early. Miranda is not overrated, Taylor is not overrated and Pavlik is not overrated.
Even before the Taylor fight I never dismissed Miranda. But the haters will continue to have excuses why Pavlik is not as good.

Miranda is super tough, he took huge amounts of flush shots from Pavlik and didn't go down until the seventh round. He was able to stun Pavlik with just a very few punches that he landed. I would love to see a rematch between the two of them at 168.
