Name fights you can think of that ref did great/horrid job

Throwing this topic out quick so I didn't get much time to think about it though here's quick examples.
Great - Pacquiao-Marquez, Cortez made the difference in a huge turn around by not panicking and letting the fight continue after 3 knockdowns in the 1st round.

Horrid - Calzaghe-Manfredo, the kid wasn't fighting back much, but those were pitty pat punches. Nothing serious landed yet that showed Peter was really hurt.

Great - Pavlik-Taylor, we all know this.

Horrid - Bautista-Deleon, while I don't think the end would have resulted in any difference in the long run, the round was coming to an end, it was a title fight, and Bautista didn't even get warmed up. Give the kid more of a chance if it's the first round of a TITLE shot!

Gut-Wrenchingly Bad: Vic Drakulich in Mayweather-Castillo I... neither point being taken off were really necessary. Both were violations of the rules. Neither were ground breaking to the match. The one thing that appalled me the most about that match was when Castillo was completely behind Mayweather, and he punched him like 4 times in the kidney. Not a ****ing warning from Drakulich. I can imagine those shots HURT. Whatever, **** him.

Excellent: Richard Steele in Mayweather-Judah. That **** was crazy, and somehow it didn't explode. Props to him.

    Honorable Mention (for good ref'ing):
    Richard Steele in Chavez-Taylor I
    Jay Nady in Tszyu-Judah

Who wants to ***** at me for my honorable mentions?

You all should probably start specifying whether you thought the referee did a great or horrid job... when you just post the referee and the fight, it is awfully difficult to figure out what you thought of the refereeing... especially controversial fights that have both sides adequately represented, such as... say... Chavez-Taylor I with Richard Steele.

Haha, I knew you were going to say it was bad... we've already talked about this in one thread, but seriously, it would kind of make the thread suck if that became a trend for the thread.

                earl morton mistake

if u watch the fight again clearly earl morton said stop punching right before mayweather knocked him down. thats why gatti complained when floyd hit him but earl didnt pay no mind to what he said prior to the knockdown. earl messed up.

but earl did do i good job in the gatti-ward 2 match, letting them brawl.

I rememebr that... he said stop punching clearly. Academic though, so at least it didn't **** up one guy's chances of winning the fight.
