I don't think Pavlik would win in one round but he would surely stop the tough but unskilled Hagler in the later rounds.

Older fighters are overrated, boxing has evolved from those days. Pavlik is too big and powerful for Hagler.

Honestly, there's a greater possibility of Hagler winning by 1st round KO over Pavlik.

But the more likely result is Hagler winning by a late round KO or a wide decision.
