Since FMJ is a proven PPV commodity, and Margarito has proven that he can NOT carry a PPV event, the money that Arum was offering was money from Floyd's own pocket.

It would be the equivalent of YOU promoting ME to go fight Oscar. You "offer" Oscar $20 million, while penciling in $2 mil for me and a healthy cut for yourself.

Dude. The nums don't lie. The only way to judge a fighter's marketabilty is through his nums. And if people ain't buying, it means squat. For example, the Barrera-Morales trilogy did around 330K each. But as soon as Barrera tried to fight a no-name (peden or fana) his nums dropped to 100K.
