Anyone else feel Taylor-Pavlik took the sting out of Hatton-Mayweather

I went from being slightly motivated for December 8th to not at all now. After such a moving and inspiring performance by both fighters on Saturday, I couldn't care less about Dec 8th right now.

How can that fight possibly live up to what we saw Sept 29th? By being slow? By being one-sided? A few cheap cusses from Mayweather and Hatton?

What we saw on Saturday was the real ****ing deal, and if we're lucky enough to see such a performance from both fighters again, it will be Mosley and Cotto.

          Not really.
If anything, it took the sting out of Calzaghe/Kessler, because their much closer in weight class.

But I can see where you're coming from.
          No worries, though..
****man/Uglyboy 24/7 will bring back the hype.

          Trust me.

Yeah I'm sure all of the great hype and advertising that is going to bombard us even more so soon will definitly get me back into the fight, of course. My point was though, I will follow it blindly and waiting, knowing that what I saw on Saturday will have far surprassed any excitement Hatton-Mayweather is likely to generate.

pavlik taylor just hypes up all the major events to come, just think of it as stage one. Remember 1 boxing event cant transform the whole sport, but it can definently help in the transformation. with a fight like, and a superfight in a different division almost every week until the end of the year. Boxing is at its best and in the words of jim lampley, " What an awesome show, what a great great fight!"

The hell with Mayweather/Hatton. I'm pumped for Cotto/Mosley. Cotto is going to lay the beatdown on that cheating scumbag Mosley.
