I would classify myself a fan of both fighters. I followed Barrera first, and I came to know Pacquiao through defeating Barrera.
I like both fighters. But the truth is. I hope Barrera wins this fight.
It's a long enough shot, but I truly believe it would be better for the sport if Barrera came out on top.
Maybe Barrera would not retire, and we could get a rematch with Juan Manuel, which I definitly want to see.
Pacquiao's attention has been elsewhere they say. But has it really? We won't know until fight night. But if he is sloppy and only 80% of himself, then a defeat could give him that drive he could be needed to motivate himself.
(Hoping not, but this could be one of the shortest of the super fights this fall in Manny's favour)
