  • pavlik has options!!!

kelly pavlik doesnt need to look for his next great fight! he could face either john duddy which would be a big seller, sergio mora a tricky match up also a big seller, abraham in the always special unification bouts, allan green or gary lockett in certain toe to toe fights of the year or he could move up and fight the winner of calzaghe - kessler and probably get beat but he has the punchers chance!! what do u guys think???

I wouldn't be more than suprised if he gets offered a big purse to fight Mundine in the USA. He won't get the winner of Calzaghe vs Kessler.

Well to be honest im looking at the way Calzaghe win or Kess win will pan out. Calzaghe will fight Hopkins in America for some massive money. He has stated he is after moeny in a lot of interviews. Kessler is reluctant to fight Mundine, he has beat him once already and why fight a dangerous fighter again. On his day Kess could be upset and kess doesn't want this although its mandatory within the next 18 months to fight Mundine if he beats Joe C. But saying that Mundine has said he wanted Jermain Taylor last year, yet he didn't act on it. He has come out and said this week that nearly being forced to retire has shown him to make the big fights happen and go direct for glory. Its probably unlikely, but don't be suprised if team Mundine offer him a big purse, and i wouldn't write off Mundine fighting in the USA for the first time.

The fight would also be at middleweight. Mundine stated he wanted to reign at middleweight last year.

i think Kelly should have a tune-up fight before he steps in with any elite fighters. John Duddy will be easy fight for him and plus he will make alot of money doing it. after Duddy, he should fight Taylor cause he has the rematch on his contract and then go from there. he(Kelly) really doesn't have other option than that and i don't think Bob Arum would let him fight any other fighter than Duddy at this point.

            I hope he fights Abraham!

But that's bull anyway, no way they're going to put him in with the best middleweight in the world.

Why the hell would Pavlik need a tuneup fight? What is there to tuneup? He just got done beating the WBC mw champ of the world and the very hard hitting and dangerous Edison Miranda…

Anyways, I like the matchup between Pavlik and Abraham. Both are good young undefeated fighters who both have a piece of the mw title. This would be an interesting matchup and would be very exciting to watch as well…

There are several top contenders that are viable options. But I think Bob Arum is going to want to milk him for all he has, and play it safe.

I honestly want to see how he does against winky wright. that would put another big name on his resume if he wins.

How do you know what fight would be a big seller when Pavlik hasn't even sold anything yet??
