Kelly Pavlik DOES Have A Great Chin

he has a great chin. Those shots by taylor would of knocked out a lot of ppl..and remember when he took those 3 straight left hooks flush from miranda? anybody who can take those 3 punches and keep moving forward has a great chin 2 me.

I have heard morons on here saying that Pavlik has a suspect chin because he suffered a flash knockdown and he was hurt badly. Any other fighter would have been KO'd after Taylor's onslaught of flush powerful shots. Pavlik has great recuperative abilities and after the 2nd round he took all of Taylor's flush shots without flinching. I think Pavlik does get hit too much and that may shorten his career, but I don't see any fighter that can take Kelly Pavlik. Kelly Pavlik is a boxing fans dream, he is an entertaining blood and guts action fighter that KO's everyone, he also has a great jab and he can either go to war or outbox anybody. He is a true warrior with an amazing heart and a Great Chin.

He got up in 2 seconds, that is what I consider a flash knockdown. He wasn't layed out and flat on his back his gloves just touched the canvas and he got up immediately taking plenty more flush shots. Pavlik dosen't have a Baldomir Type Chin, but he has a pretty ****ing good one.

You said that he took an "onslaught of flush punches". You also said that he has a good "recuperative ability". If it was a flash knockdown, there would be nothing to recuperate from.

How quickly you get up has nothing to do with flash knockdown. Vargas got up quickly when Trinidad hit him. Bit he was still hurt. A "flash knockdown' means that you were not hurt. Pavlik was badly hurt. And he admitted that. He showed great heart to hang in there.

i saw that fight yesterday...taylor is a ****ing ******.
dude has wicked amounts of talent but uses like 6% of it. he definately coulda slowed down the pace of the fight. just more movement, more defense being used(his face was his best guard; at least it was for the jab). he just fought ******ed. oh well, im not a JT fan so much, so it doesnt bug me much. im glad i got to see wat pavlick is made of. kid got sum skills and heart

I would call his chin good or hell of a chin, i don't think i'd call it great.

Reason i say this is because one good punch and you can stun him and any other reff besides smoger stops the fight.

I think from here on all of Pavliks opponets are going to rush him and challenge his chin really quick from the get go and if they knock him down they'll be all over him and possable get a tko. Taylor almost did.

Pavlik should have smoger in all his fights. And not impossable.
