Where does Clinton Woods stand in the Light Heavyweights?
Opinions please.

It's shaping up to a pretty damn tough division.
Other champions apart from Woods are the udefeated Zsolt Erdei, a skilled talented fighter, & the very talented Chad Dawson.
(Stipe Drews is also there, but he's been easily handled before by Paul Briggs, & barely deserves a mention)
Top contenders are former champions Glen Johnson & Julio Gonzales, both very experienced & incredibly tough;
as well as the big punching Paul Briggs, talented danger man Adrian Dionescu, & Hugo Garay.
There's also Antonio Tarver & Roy Jones, with whatever they have left.
(Bernard Hopkins I'm leaving out, because I think the only guys he'll take a fight with are Calzaghe if he beats Kessler, & RJJ)
----
Personally feel that Clinton Woods should be regarded as the top guy in the division.
There's more talented guys in the division, there are bigger punchers, but Woods is the guy who has come through when it counted.
Since he was stopped by Jones years ago, he's buckled down & fought the toughest guys in the division , & steadily improved doing it
- Glen Johnson 3 times, & Julio Gonzales twice.
Dawson or Erdie might well be able to outbox him, Briggs might be able to land a bomb & stop him, but until they do, Woods is the top guy in the division for me, because he's proven.

Here's his last fight against Julio Gonzales - a really good, tough, classic Light-Heavyweight fight.
