  • Bert Sugar gave Pavlik one round

If anybody cares. I gave him two rounds because I thought he landed the better punches in round 1. He definitely looked really bad until round 7.

Just posting because a lot of people were acting like the scores were wack. I thought they were excellent and spot on. Glad to see judges not giving into loud cheering.

It's on hbo.com/boxing's round by round report by the way

Bert Sugar is pretty hilarious, that being said it didn't go to the scorecards.

I had Taylor up a point, if memory serves.

F**k Bert Sugar the guy is so full of **** and he's given so many outlets to aire it. People act like when he says something thats it, end of. He's really extremely biased on so many subjects.

Maybe Bert had a dash of something in his cigar that night... And, it may not be sugar.

I thought Pavlik was winning by a point, depended very much on what u liked.

And regardless of ur score, Pavlik looked nothing short of great. He didnt look terrible at all.

He was doin some great work inside and against the ropes, his jab was probably even better then Taylors and was definetly stronger, and he was throwing a ton of punches.

I cant really complain about that score anymore, but Pavlik didnt look bad at all. outside of round 2 i mean

What I find strange is Julie Ledderman's card. Did she give Pavlik only 1 round? How does she justify that score to her dad I am not too sure about.

I had Taylor up by a point after round 6, as well. But, it was clear from the beginning of round 6 to the KO, Taylor was succumbing to the pressure. It was just a matter of time.

Merchant had it even thru round 6. Ledbetter had Pavlik up by a point, if I recall correctly.

Probably not, because Pavlik didnt leave it up to the judges. I think it was razor close at the time of the KO, either of them could have been up by a point.
