I was thinking how great that referee was in there on Saturday night (Steve Smoger). I was watching the second round unfold and I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that if Jay Nady was the referee Saturday night, Pavlik would have lost in the 2nd round by TKO stoppage. Because of refs like Nady, we miss out on memorable wars like Taylor-Pavlik was.

Maybe I was wrong for singling Nady out, it's more of a praise for Steve Smoger. He stays out of the way and lets them fight.
