Chazz Witherspoon is going to drown out the HW division with his drool when he fights. For gods sake this guy needs to learn how to keep his saliva in his mouth.

I haven't seen enough of Arreola to have any strong opinions about him. The fight I can quickly recall having seen him was on ESPN over a year ago which was very short (first round stoppage).
A friend of mine has been following his career somewhat, and told me Arreola has been racking up wins and remains undefeated. My friend also told me Arreola appeared in the undercard of Mayweather- Baldomir. Knocked out his opponent, he said. But, I can't remember...
Anyway, you should know Arreola better. He fights out of California, I understand.Last edited by grayfist; 10-09-2007, 09:21 PM.Comment

Last fight, KO'd in 3 a 26-1 Thomas Haye's (had fought only cans except for holding 1 first round KO over Chris Koval).
He's slated to face a 14-0-1 Nigerian named Teke Oruh in his next fight on 11/16.
I to have only seen that fight you said, as far as I recall.. was hard to tell how good he was off of that.. I agree he seemed slow but powerful. Not sure about his defense and technique so much.Comment

Tye fields is neither a contender or a prospect.. he's a sideshow and a can with a padded record.
Kevin Johnson (http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php...3416&cat=boxer) is a good prospect.. currently 16-0-1, with the draw coming in just his fourth fight, against Timur Ibragimov, who was already 14-0 at the time! And the guy doesnt even have a good amateur background, but has been matched up very tough as a pro with the philosophy that he needed to quickly make up for his lack of amateur experience in his early pro fights (Apparently, it's worked). This was according to a press release by his team which I read on this site.Comment

from what i can tell most of the prospect are still in the amateurs and wont be fighting for titles for another 4 years or so, i think that Jonathan banks is the one to watch and is americas best hope for a decent champ, if haye beats mormeck he has to be considered as well. arreola could win the must ugly heavyweight titleComment
