  • Kelly Pavlik is the TOUGHEST fighter in boxing

Words can't even describe how tough this guy is. There was no way Kelly Pavlik was gonna lose this fight, he has one the biggest HEARTS I have ever seen. Pavlik is an old school throwback from the 1950's and I think he can help boxing propel past the UFC. I can't see anyone beating Pavlik, he is too tough, skilled and powerful to allow anyone to beat him. Fighters like Kelly Pavlik don't come around to often and we should enjoy him as he will continue to KO everyone and stake his claim as one of the Greatest Middleweights of all time.

    WAR KELLY PAVLIK

Carlos Baldomir is tougher by far.

By the way... did you know you can change your username by paying points?

I figured you would have changed it to PAVLIK OWNS already.

You're crazy. He's tough, strong, and most importantly smart. but a lot of fighters are tough.

Baldomir? Wtf? I think you could have dug deeper than Baldomir. Aside from that, I agree that Pavlik is tough as nails, but it remains to be seen how well he defends the belt before he goes down as an ATG.

I didn't need to dig deep to think of someone tougher than Pavlik. Baldomir has pretty much never been hurt that I can remember.

Who has a better chin than Baldomir? Anyone?

This thread is not about who has the best chin, it is about who is the toughest based on HEART,DETERMINATION,WILL, AND CHIN. Baldomir obviously has the best chin in boxing, but he has never faced the type of adversity Pavlik went through last night and came back to KO the opponent.

The Baldomir comment is interesting, but every man has a breaking point. Great chin...oh yes. But Pavlik's range would be decisive and the result on poor Baldomir would be brutal.

It's going to take someone that's elusive, yet offensively threatening. Baldo's not elusive at all.

Baldomir's chin is overrated. It's a granite chin, but people make it out to be like he's indestructible. He's been knocked out before and I wouldn't say that all of the elite fighters he's fought (Zab, Gatti, Mayweather, Forrest) are the most monstrous of punchers. Zab was gassed and couldn't land his best shots. Gatti is a punching bag whose too small for 147. Mayweather...well...you now how that one went. And Forrest lost all his pop ever since his injuries really. A real puncher like Cintron would dent his big melon without a problem.

Pavlik has a granite chin, but even better, he has great recuperative abilities.
