Taylor/Pavlik proved alot of things...

1. A fighters 'competion' sometimes does not prove how good a fighter truly is. All it takes is one fight to make a star.

2. The first right hand distorted Taylor's face in a way I have not seen since Joe Walcott ... he was blasted by some terrific thunder...Pavlic simply has extremely heavy hands.

3. Pavlik has a good chin but he is prone early to the knockout punch. He has been down 4 or 5 times in his career, all in the first couple rounds. Once he establishes his rythym, he's terminator like. Nothing pretty, just unspectacular but effective, exciting offense.

4. Emmanuel Steward is a jack ass. His pre fight/post fight comments were ridiculous.

I like Steward as an analyst and think he is a good trainer, but he was certainly wrong about Pavlik.

What did he say post-fight though? I haven't heard.

I didn't hear the post fight either what did he say. Rematch should happen soon and I think a trilogy might come out of this.
