So how overrated is Pavlik if...

He beats the man that has beat THE MAN twice(Bernard), drew with Winky, decisioned Spinks and Ouma. After all that talk about the level of quality the two faced. I think Pavlik ended up having the real test with Miranda. It proved just who he was in there and how determined and nonstop he is. The way he fought that fight alone made me believe he'd dust Taylor. I'm not taking away from Taylor's victories either against his opposition, I'm just saying that Pavlik iced the man that was suppose to take over the mantle of Bernard.

Pavlik looked horrible last night. Taylor took his foot off the gas plain and simple. That fight should have been over in 3-4 rounds, but Taylor always backs off when he has a good round. Pavlik has a good chin and a big punch and that's it. If that's enough to rule the middleweight division, it's a sorry (but exciting) era.

JT is simply overrated. He managed to win unconvincingly in 4 of his last 5 fights. He's not the fighter that people (some) think he is. He never was. I picked JT to win because I figure after all of his championship fights at this point he'd manage to pull his head out of his ass, stop making green mistakes, and listen to Steward. Apparently I put too much faith in him. Looks like my previous posts bashing the **** out of him were more accurate than my misplaced faith. Pavlik does have a slightly better chin than I thought he did though. Knew it was good; not that good though.

Now that pavlik beat taylor doesn't mean he can beat all the opponents taylor beat.

Kelly Pavlik did last night what Bore-nard Slopkins failed to do in two back to back fights. The so-called master craftsman was not able to seriously hurt JT over 24 rounds and Pavlik brutally disposes of him. So if Pavlik is overrated, so to then is Bore-nard Slopkins!
