    SCORING TROUBLES... hmmmm

It was a difficult fight to score no doubt about it, but i personally thought Pavlik was CLEARLY ahead on the cards before teh stoppage.

I gave him rounds 1, which i thought was close but clear to pavlik, round 3, which was also clear to pavlik and an AMAZING statement in itself, i think it was round 5 and 6 (or 4 and 5) that i also gave to Pavlik, both were close.

Then i gave Taylor 3 rounds and with that 10-8 possibly 10-7 round, it was really close.

BUT, i thought Pavlik showed what ive been saying all along, he IS the more technically sound fighter. His jab wasnt as accurate but it was stronger, and it constantly snapped Taylors head back.

He was accurate with his punches and set everything up, BUT MOST IMPORTANT like i have been sayin all along, he showed a VERY GOOD defense.

NOTE: Max Kellerman said in the ZERTUCHE fight that if Pavlik had one of his defensive lapses against Taylor, it would cost him... He was SPOT ON CORRECT.

NOTE 2: If u check my Prediction thread that i made for this reas, i got the fight dead on balls accurate medal? please?

Well, Pavlik was lucky he even got out of the second round. I thought the fight should've been stopped in the second but he was allowed to keep fighting. I can't argue the stoppage in the 7th, tho, that was a good stoppage.

As for Kelly, he did good and he deserves props. I had posted before that if Jermain did not keep the fight in the middle of the ring he'd be KO'd in 8. I guess I was off by a round. I thought Taylor would win an easy UD, tho, especially after how the first 6 rounds had played out. I really thought that he'd listen to his corner and stay in the middle. He did, for the first 2 rounds and then allowed himself to be trapped too much.

              Good Job, Kelly. Cong****.

I had Taylor clearly ahead he was landing crisp, clean punches and effective combinations.
He was moving well and showed good defense.

Taylor was fighting in spurts and Pavlik was constantly coming at him and landing punches (it's unfortunate for Pavlik that you can't really tell how hard he hits unless he's actually hitting you).....

Agreed. Taylor was clearly ahead 4 rounds to 2 and that's only if you give Pavlik round 1.
